We are a small and friendly Bed and Breakfast in Portreath, Cornwall. 2 minutes walk from a sandy beach and situated on the coast path. With it's historic harbour and beautiful coastline Portreath offers everything for families and couples alike. The rooms are clean and un-fussy, with fluffy towels and quality linen provided. Our location is ideal for travel throughout South West Cornwall. Being only 20 miles from The Lizzard and approximately 30 minutes from Falmouth, Penzance and St Ives. Portreath is an excellent location for Surfing, Golfing, Fishing, Walking , Touring or even shopping in the historic City of Truro. All in all this is the ideal place for your summer beach holiday or winter breath of fresh air whilst watching the wild waves and seemingly fearless surfers and body boarders. So, if you stay either on business or to relax on holiday, we will do our utmost to deliver the best service possible to you. Country cottages set within the grounds of Great Trethew Manor Hotel. Our cottages are approximately 200 years old and used to be the stables to the working farm at Great Trethew Manor. The cottages are a sensible size for a family of four. Each cottage consists of a double room and a room with bunk beds together with a shower room upstairs. Downstairs it is one large room with a kitchenette, lounge and dining areas. Each cottage is fully equipped with all electric goods together with cutlery and crockery. All bed linen and towels are provided. Within the grounds we offer 30 acres of rustic beautiful woodland and walks, deep into the woods you will find our good sized trout lake, which can be fished at any times, prior to arrangement. We also offer pony trekking which takes you the full length of our grounds for an hours trek or for a two hour trek we continue down into the valley. The cottages are approximately a minutes walk from the hotel and restaurant which is open to residents and none residents, we can cater for breakfast, lunch or dinner in our A La Carte Restaurant. Pets are very welcome
St Leonards House is the comfortable, relaxing home of John and Jane Marshall set in the country just one mile from the historic town of Launceston, the ancient capital of Cornwall. Lying on the banks of the River Kensey on the Devon/Cornwall border between Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor, St Leonards House is ideally situated for exploring the many delights of both Devon and Cornwall. The house is furnished with antique furniture and prints as well as embroidery and tapestries made by Jane. The three letting rooms are comfortably furnished and have a hospitality tray, TV, bath robes, chocolates and more. A guest lounge is available for guest use or you can relax on the patio beside the river. Why not enjoy a traditional Cornish Cream Tea. Dinner can be provided by prior arrangement.

Idealy located for the Eden Project and the rest of Cornwall. We are on the edge of Bodmin only 1 mile from Lanhydrock Golf Club and 2 minute drive to Lanhydrock House. Walkers and Cyclist are always welcome as we are close to the Camel Trail and a sustrans cycle route to Lanhydrock house and Gardens. We are surrounded by coastal walks and The Copper trail circles Bodmin Moor and the All Saints Way from Padstow to Fowey. In easy walking distance to the Dragon Leisure Centre facilities include :- swimming pool, tennis, squash and bar. There are 2 small shops close by and the town centre only 1.5 miles. There are a Number of fine dinning establishments within Bodmin and the surrounding area. We do advise, to avoid disappointment in peak holiday times, to book well in advance. To add to your holiday break enjoyment we offer and advise you to book a meal at one of our local eateries, as they do get fully booked. If you would like this, we will recommend and book a table for you in your name in advance of your arrival. Start your break in the right way with a lovely meal without the hassle of trying to find some where after what might have been a long journey. The takeaways in Bodmin are great but don’t let this be the only option if this is not what you want or enjoy, as we want you to enjoy your stay.
